Trying Out Networked Knowledge Activities (Part I)

This week we learnt about Networked Knowledge Activities and I decided to start a small little project on my own. First, it involved me contacting my previous unit in the military, forming a small group to collate material on a simple everyday activity: Marching in Camps. Based on the readings, I decided to focus on two Networked Knowledge Activities: Curating, which is the creation of  organized, annotated collections of online artifacts and Sharing what we collected, curated, or constructed and make it available online.

Here are some of the materials we curated:

Watch for some of the best marching I have seen.

And on the other hand, we have some bloopers.....

The next step of this project, we will be sharing it within our unit Facebook group, to elicit responses from our servicemen on what they identified to be key ingredients for a cohesive and beautiful march. This will also come in timely, as most of the servicemen are preparing for their Milestone Parade, marking the end of their two years in National Service. Feel free to add in your comments, responses or add to my curated collection! Stay tuned....

It’s amazing to see live (but yeah, not quite what you were thinking of)

    1. Thank you, Prof! It was certainly interesting to see! There are definitely elements that we could pick up in marching too!
